Parcels began in Byron Bay and found in Berlin the place from which to define their blend of organic band playing and electronic production. Clean guitars, vocal harmonies, bass, keyboards and exact drums build songs that feel effortless because everything is so carefully coordinated.
That coordination never erases individual character. The pleasure lies in hearing five musicians make room, answer one another and hold the movement together. The groove does not depend on one person standing above the rest, but on every part understanding what the whole needs.
We recognise that way of working at Baristas. Service has a rhythm too: somebody prepares, somebody watches the room, somebody clears and another person notices a need before it becomes a problem. When a team listens, precision can feel light.
Parcels brings brightness and sophistication without creating distance. This is music that can start a morning, accompany a conversation and remind us that the most interesting kind of elegance is never rigid: it moves, collaborates and leaves room for everyone.
